The Baltimore Ravens Shutout the Bengals and Knock them Out of Playoff Contention

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 24-0 in a commanding display on a cold afternoon in Paycor Stadium, officially removing their AFC North rivals from playoff contention and ensuring that Cincinnati will miss the postseason for the third consecutive year. With Derrick Henry rushing for 100 yards on just 11 runs and Lamar Jackson throwing two touchdown passes to rookies Rasheen Ali and Zay Flowers, Baltimore finished 7-7 and maintained their own aspirations of winning the division.

Joe Burrow threw two interceptions, one of which was returned for a magnificent 95-yard pick-six relay by Kyle Van Noy and Alohi Gilman that iced the game. The Bengals, at 4-10, made several drives into Ravens territory but came away empty each time. A few weeks after Cincinnati shocked Baltimore 32-14 on Thanksgiving, the Ravens' defense pulled off a brilliant shutout, the Bengals' first at home since 2017, eliminating any hopes of a postseason run for the once-contending team.
