Breaking News: A grid emergency on Tuesday caused power rates in Baltimore and Washington, DC, to soar to almost $4,000 per megawatt-hour. The cold is still very much present. According to the US Weather Prediction Center, Baltimore may see temperatures below 28 degrees for nine days in a row—something that hasn't happened since the 1800s.
